Hotel Monterey Okinawa Spa & Resort is a beachfront property in Onna, offering direct access to Tiger Beach. It is conveniently located near Okinawakaigan Quasi-National Park (0.1 km), Moon Beach (0.5 km), and Sun Marina Beach (1 km). Naha Airport (OKA) is approximately 51.1 km (31.7 mi) or a 70-minute drive away. The hotel is also within a 15-minute drive of Blue Cave and Manza Park, 19.5 km (12.1 mi) from American Village, and 9.2 km (5.7 mi) from Manza Beach.

The resort features 339 guestrooms, many offering sea views and private balconies or terraces. Designed for comfort, rooms include amenities such as a flat-screen or LCD TV with digital programming and in-room video streaming, complimentary wired and wireless internet access, a refrigerator, electric kettle, coffee/tea maker, and an in-room safe. Private bathrooms are equipped with deep soaking bathtubs, separate showers, complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, and bathrobes. Selected rooms also provide an Aromatic Air Purifier, humidifier, linen service, blackout curtains, and air conditioning. From April to October, guests receive a complimentary beach set including slippers, a beach gown, and a beach bag.

Guests can choose from 8 distinct dining and bar options. Sea Forest offers international, Japanese, Western, and Okinawan buffet breakfast and dinner. ZUIENTEI serves Japanese cuisine, Kobe specializes in Teppan-style meals, and ESCALE provides Western dishes. For casual dining, there's a BBQ Beer Garden, SUNSET CAFÉ for light meals and beverages, and Tiger Beach Café for tropical drinks by the beach. A poolside bar is also available. Buffet breakfast is served daily from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM for a fee. Vending machines and BBQ facilities are on-site.

Recreational and wellness facilities include 4 outdoor pools, a waterslide, and direct beach access. An indoor pool and spa facilities (Blue Reef) are available for an additional charge (Adults ¥1,500, Children 6-12 ¥750, Children 5 and under free for a one-day pass). Guests can relax at the full-service spa offering massages, body treatments, and facials, or enjoy the hot springs, hot tub, sauna, and fitness center. Beach parasols and chairs are available for a fee on a first-come, first-served basis.

The hotel offers various activities such as karaoke rooms, pottery lessons, and marine activities including snorkeling, diving, banana boat rides, and whale watching.

Services and amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, concierge services, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, and gift shops/newsstands. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Other conveniences include dry cleaning/laundry services, a laundromat, daily housekeeping, and convenience stores. Please note that the outdoor pool and beach are closed seasonally from November 4 to March 19. Renovations are scheduled from May 25, 2026, to May 29, 2026 (dates subject to change), affecting one of the swimming pools, fitness facilities, hot springs, and sauna. The hotel will make efforts to minimize noise and disturbance during this period.
