Hotel White Sands Resort & Conference Centre, also known as The Beach Resort, is situated 25 km north of Dar es Salaam city centre on a private beachfront stretching nearly 1 km. It offers a gateway to a unique East African experience, with Jangwani Beach just 0.2 km away and Water World 270 meters from the hotel.

The resort features 143 individually furnished guestrooms, including standard rooms and studio, one or two-bedroomed apartments. Each air-conditioned room comes with a private balcony or patio offering sea or garden views, a minibar, tea-and-coffee-making facilities, and a Smart or satellite TV. Private bathrooms are equipped with showers (some with rainfall showerheads), complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, and bathrobes. Guests have direct access to the secluded private beach. Water sports such as jet skiing, parasailing, and waterskiing are available, and an on-site PADI Dive Centre (Sea Breeze Marine) offers scuba and snorkeling activities. Trips to Mbudya Island, a marine reserve ideal for hiking, camping, picnics, or sundowners, can be arranged. An arcade/game room is also on-site.

For transportation, guests can arrange a 24-hour roundtrip airport shuttle (surcharge), an area shuttle (surcharge), or car hire. Complimentary self-parking is available.
