Castaways Resort is spectacularly situated atop coastal cliffs overlooking Karioitahi Beach and the Tasman Sea, approximately 50 minutes drive (around 60 km) from Auckland International Airport. Located in Lake Puketi, the resort is also a 10-minute drive from Waiuku and 70 km from Auckland city centre.
The resort offers 25 elegant studios and chalets, including spacious 2-bedroom self-contained options. All accommodations boast private decks with unsurpassed ocean views. Guests can enjoy air-conditioned rooms featuring LCD televisions with cable/satellite programming and DVD players. Each unit includes a fully equipped kitchenette or kitchen, a coffee/tea maker, and a desk, with some rooms also offering a refrigerator.
