Plataran Menjangan Resort & Spa is a tranquil eco-retreat nestled within the protected sanctuary of West Bali National Park, offering an escape to nature's raw beauty. This unique hideaway features 17 air-conditioned traditional Joglo villas, situated either in the forest or right by the ocean, providing luxury, privacy, and comfort for couples, families, nature lovers, and adventure seekers.
Each villa includes a minibar, LED television with satellite programming, private patio, and complimentary wireless internet access. Bathrooms are equipped with separate bathtubs and showers, complimentary toiletries, hair dryers, bathrobes, and slippers. Some villas also feature separate living rooms and balconies or terraces, along with a refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, and bottled water.
Guests can indulge at the full-service spa, offering massages, body treatments, and facials, or relax by the outdoor pool and sun terrace. The resort boasts a private beach and offers a range of activities including jungle trekking, kayaking through mangrove canals, diving, snorkeling, and sunset cruises. Guests can listen to the song of the exotic Bali Starling while exploring the wild.
Dining options include two on-site restaurants, such as Octagon Ocean Club, serving fresh flavors from the garden and sea, with oceanfront dining available. In accordance with local regulations, all visitors must remain within the property during Seclusion Day (Nyepi)/Hindu New Year for a 24-hour period (starting at 6 AM). This typically falls in March or April (dates subject to change each year), and check-in and check-out will not be possible on that date. Ngurah Rai Airport is also closed on Seclusion Day.
